Working with my colleagues, a lot of whom have been here many years also!
Q2. Describe a typical day.
I love a nice and early start, so I come in at 8am to get a head start on packing and despatching for our retail and wholesale orders. I then work through our concession orders. I’m always working with our beautiful accessories, soft furnishings, clocks, the lot!
So what you see in our concession stores and been processed through me and the packaging team here in Newmarket.
I also input order’s that come to me via e-mail daily, I also pack small general orders in between.

Unique. Luxury. Family-orientated.
Q4. What interests you most about working for Libra?
When I spot items I’ve packed and distributed in people’s homes and stores! I always managed to spot Libra items on TV too, which is always the talk of the warehouse the next day!
Q5. How long have you worked at Libra?
I’ve been with the company for 37 years this year! I have worked in many different areas at Libra, starting off making scales. I’ve loved meeting lots of people over the years and working through the different generations of the family business, who are all friends for life.
Q6. What is your process for sorting and packing? How many orders do you receive and pack on average a day?
Every day it differs for the amount of orders, some can be lots of little retail orders some can be bigger orders, usually between 20-45 a day.
